*In Person, Outside* ABC Cuentos Baby Storytime at Veterans' Park

This in-person storytime features fun, short segments that keep things moving and fun even for our youngest storytime attendees. Some Spanish and American Sign Language will be featured. This series is scheduled through the end of October. In the event of bad weather or colder temperatures, we will not meet and offer a virtual storytime on our Facebook page instead. Feel free to call us at 708-689-6126 with any questions.

COVID Safety notes:
We ask all guests who are not fully vaccinated, including children over the age of 2  to wear masks for safety, because distancing can be difficult to maintain with this age group. While our presenter will do their best to remind guests about distancing and masking, since we will also be leading the program, we count on our caregivers to help us in this effort so we can continue to offer an in-person storytimes.

*In Person* Monsters Rock Paper Scissors faceoff

This is an in-person program.

Our rock, paper, scissors faceoff has a monster-themed twist. Pretend to be your favorite monster as we play a few rounds. Ages 8 to 10. As a precaution, this event is limited to six attendees at a time and participants are expected to fully mask and distance inside the program for safety.

This is an in-person program with virtual accommodation if needed.

Got a young writer at home? Youth Services Desk Assistant (and debut novelist) Mia Manansala will guide you through the process of writing your own novel! Participants will receive workbooks and guided instruction on the ins and outs of creative writing. By the end of the program, you should have a finished book! If you finish your book by November 30, FPPL will print a physical copy for you.
