Asian Heritage Month: Mini Poetry Writing Workshop

For AAPIHM (Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month), we are celebrating Asian American artists with a poetry writing program inspired by poets of Asian descent. With special guest poet Samina Hadi-Tabassum, we’ll read poems and have exercises prepared to get you in the creative writing mood. If you have any poems by Asian American writers you’d like to share, bring them! At the end, we’ll volunteer to read our creations. Attendees may enter a raffle to win Samina’s book of poetry.
